The atmosphere of our office is relaxing, and our team is friendly and compassionate. In fact, when you visit us, we treat you like a member of the family. We want you to feel at ease during your dental care treatments, so we do everything we can to help you relax and feel comfortable. We offer sedation dentistry to help ease our patients’ anxiety, and we also offer Sirius Satellite Radio, personal BOSE® noise cancellation headphones with iPods, and cable TV on flat screen monitors so that you can listen to your favorite music or watch your favorite show during treatments.
We also offer state-of-the-art dental technologies that help our patients receive the best care possible. During exams, we use the DIAGNOdent® cavity detector and ViziLite® oral cancer screening to ensure any problems are caught and treated early. To help our patients truly understand the cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry options at our practice, we offer CAESY® patient education featuring video descriptions of some of our most popular procedures. In addition, we show The Smile Channel in our reception area with videos, computer animations, and before-and-after images of cosmetic cases to help our patients realize the possibilities that reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry treatments have to offer. We also offer the convenience of a digital office, so all records, x-rays, and patient information can easily be sent to specialists and referred to when needed.
Our Team
We have gathered a phenomenal team of dental professionals, many whom have been with us for more than 20 years. From our office manager and dental hygienists, to our surgical assistant and dental concierge, our staff provides friendly, state-of-the-art reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry care to patients in Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, Torrance, and surrounding communities.
Kristie Corral, R.D.A. — Office Manager
Kristie Corral has been with our practice for more than 20 years. As the office manager, she oversees all of the office operations throughout the day. She is also a Registered Dental Assistant and works with Dr. Diane Costigan in the mornings. During her tenure with the practice she has cultivated her skills and specializes in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, from the clinical side to the financial arrangements. She offers a wealth of information and if there is ever a situation requiring her expertise about financing your treatment or helping you with insurance, please do not hesitate to contact her.
Peggy Pifer, R.D.A. — Hygiene Coordinator
Peggy Pifer has been with our practice for more than 20 years. As hygiene coordinator, she maintains recall and periodontal therapy scheduling. She utilizes Smile Reminder software to electronically confirm and remind patients of their appointment via phone, text message, and email.
Sue MacShara-Semelka, R.D.H., M.S. — Dental Hygienist
Sue has been a hygienist in our practice for more than 15 years, and she was nominated for “Hygienist of the Year” in 2007. At our cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry practice, she is in charge of the non-surgical periodontal therapy programs, as well as the ordering of our hygiene products. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Oregon Health and Science University and received her Master’s in Human Nutrition from the University of Connecticut. As a certified clinical nutritionist she is able to educate our patients about good oral hygiene and the link between oral health and how it affects the rest of the human body.
Diane Fallon Shaw, R.D.H. — Dental Hygienist
Diane Fallon Shaw has been a part of our practice for more than 20 years. She received a degree in dental hygiene from the University of Rhode Island and earned her California license from the University of California Los Angeles in 1981. She has been practicing periodontal care since 1982. She is a great asset to our hygiene program and she co-writes our periodontal programs which are based on scientific evidence.
Miguel Vasquez, R.D.A. — Surgical Assistant
As our surgical assistant, Miguel Vasquez helps our dentists with implant surgery, root canal therapy, and other surgical reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry procedures at our Redondo Beach practice. He is also trained to help design and fabricate CEREC® restorations.
Mary Sanchez, R.D.A. — Dental / Cosmetic Assistant
Mary Sanchez is a registered dental assistant and has been with the practice and Dr. Michael Fulbright for more than six years. She is responsible for making sure our patients remain comfortable from the moment they sit down until they walk out the door. She is thoroughly and intimately familiar with all aspects of the cosmetic dentistry procedures that our dentists perform. She also manages our back office and is in charge of ensuring our office exceeds OSHA compliance.
Terry Sanchez, D.A. — Dental Assistant
As a dental assistant and customer service representative, Terry Sanchez assists in all aspects of our cosmetic dentistry practice and makes sure our patients’ needs are met.
Cynthia Trujillo — Dental Concierge
Cynthia Trujillo is our dental concierge. She creates a seamless transition into our practice for all new patients and assists all patients from their initial phone consultation to the completion of their treatments. She also handles financial arrangements and appointment scheduling. Don’t hesitate to ask her for anything to make your visit more comfortable.

Please feel free to print and fill out these forms and bring them with you to your first appointment at our practice. Although it is not required, bringing your completed forms to your appointment will save you time.

Our dental concierge is here to help all new patients get acquainted with our practice, and will answer any questions you have.
Financing and Insurance
At our reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry practice, we are committed to provide high-quality care, a comfortable and professional environment, and the latest techniques and technologies. Our fees reflect this top notch level of services. We offer financing programs that are designed to help make your dental care financially comfortable so that you can receive the treatments you need when you need them. We offer CareCredit® with flexible monthly payments, extended payment plans, and low interest rates. It is quick and easy to apply, and when approved, you can start treatment immediately. We also accept all major credit cards as a payment method for our services.
If you have dental insurance, we will prepare all of the necessary forms so that you receive the maximum benefits. However, please keep in mind that your insurance may not cover all of your treatment costs and you are responsible for the cost of your care. If you would like to know how much of your treatment costs will be covered by your insurance, we can submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurer.
